Two weeks ago my friend Ryan who lives in Tennesse called me. "Hey, would you want to go camping," he asked. How could I say no to a camping trip? Without pausing I immediately said yes without hesitation. See, I tend to find myself in situations where I can't say no to doing fun outdoorsy things. There's a term for this and it's called FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out. And boy do I suffer from a severe case of FOMO.

Fall Creek Falls, that's where we were going. Due to the last minute decision to go camping, the campsites at Fall Creek Falls State Park were all booked. Luckily for us, Ryan found a small campground called Sunrise Campground. Although only 2 miles north of the park, this campground was perfect for us. With 30 primitive campsites as well as RV campsites, we were the only ones there for the primitive camping. Even though they called it "primative," we did have an electrical hookup which was great for charging cell phones and other electronic devices. The property also had 3 showers which was great for this Florida boy. I would turn the water to scorching hot when I needed to warm up because I was so cold. The only thing I didn't like, was that the bathrooms were in the main office. This made it quite interesting when having to use the loo and the office personal is right around the corner hearing everything that goes on. I'm going to stop right there and let your imagination take it from here.

Friday afternoon we spent the day setting up our campsite and what little light we had left we visited the falls. Unfortunately Tennessee hadn't gotten a lot of rain. We at least got to see a little trickle of a fall flowing.

Sunday we did about an 11 mile hike at Virgin Falls, we went caving and experienced an amazing overlook
